Cunha hosts 6th annual artisanal cheese festival in September

The 6th edition of the Festival do Queijo de Cunha will take place from September 5 to 7 at Parque Lavapés in Cunha, São Paulo. The event aims to promote artisanal cheese as a cultural heritage and a driver for regional economic development.

The festival will feature approximately 45 exhibitors from São Paulo and Minas Gerais, offering a variety of products including artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, craft beers, honey, olive oils, wines, and more. Notable producers such as Atalaia, Capril do Bosque, and Fazenda Generosa are expected to participate.

New for this edition is the ‘Cozinha Show’, a professional culinary space where guest chefs will perform live demonstrations and prepare recipes using the featured cheeses. The program also includes guided tasting sessions led by sommeliers and enologists to showcase pairings with wine, beer, and olive oil.
