Cardiovascular health initiatives launched across Italy

Various health initiatives in Italy are focusing on cardiovascular disease awareness and prevention. The organization Cuore Nostro has released an emotional video to promote awareness of valvular heart diseases, coinciding with an international awareness week. The campaign emphasizes the importance of early diagnosis and calls for structured screening programs in line with the European Union’s Safe Hearts Plan.

Additionally, Fondazione Onda ETS is promoting an ‘(H) Open Week’ dedicated to cardiovascular health, with a specific focus on cardiomyopathies. Participating medical facilities, such as ASST Valle Olona in Busto Arsizio, Saronno, and Gallarate, as well as the Ospedale dei Castelli in Ariccia, are offering free consultations, screenings, and informative sessions to help the public recognize risk factors and access early diagnosis.
