CupHouse to open specialty coffee shops in Buenos Aires green spaces
The specialty coffee chain CupHouse is expanding its presence in Buenos Aires with new locations in major public green spaces. The first branch opened in the Reserva Ecológica Costanera Sur in Puerto Madero, attended by City Government Chief Jorge Macri and CupHouse founder Diego Kolankowsky.
A second location is scheduled to open in the Jardín Botánico Carlos Thays in the Palermo neighborhood in the coming weeks. The initiative focuses on providing high-quality coffee using traceable beans, standardized recipes, and advanced extraction methods.
This expansion is part of a broader policy by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires to encourage private participation in public parks. Following a recent public tender, the city has awarded permits for 16 additional cafes to be installed in various parks and plazas to enhance services for residents and tourists.
