CUPRA and Opel unveil new high-performance vehicle models
Several European automotive manufacturers are highlighting new electric and internal combustion engine models.
CUPRA has introduced the Born VZ, the most powerful version of its first fully electric model. It features 326 HP, rear-wheel drive, and an adaptive DCC suspension, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds. Additionally, the brand is expanding its SUV lineup with the Terramar, a large internal combustion SUV utilizing Volkswagen Group technology. The Terramar offers various powertrains, including mild hybrids, 2.0 TSI engines, and plug-in hybrids capable of over 100 km of electric-only range.
Opel is promoting the Mokka GSE, its fastest production electric SUV to date. Delivering 281 HP, the vehicle incorporates technical solutions derived from the Mokka GSE Rally, such as a Torsen limited-slip differential and specialized suspension. The model also features Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, allowing it to act as a mobile power source for external devices.
