CUPRA Ateca discontinued as brand's original model exits configurator

The CUPRA Ateca has been removed from the official configurator, signaling the end of the model that served as the foundation for the CUPRA brand since its inception in 2018. While the SEAT Ateca remains available on the market for a limited time, the high-performance CUPRA variant is being phased out.

The CUPRA Ateca was noted for its performance capabilities, including a 300 CV 2.0 TSI engine paired with a seven-speed DSG transmission and 4Drive all-wheel drive. To boost sales, a lower-powered 190 CV version was introduced in late 2023.

Both the SEAT and CUPRA versions of the Ateca share technical components with the Volkswagen Group's MQB platform, including similarities to the Skoda Karoq. The vehicle has been produced at the Kvasiny plant in the Czech Republic.
