Cupra Play & Cosplay festival in Cupra Marittima attracts hundreds

The second edition of the Cupra Play & Cosplay festival will take place from July 31 to August 2 on the lungomare centrale of Cupra Marittima. Organized by the local Pro Loco with the support of the municipality, the event expands to a larger open‑air village featuring tabletop games, role‑playing, animation, cosplay, workshops and themed markets.

Mayor Alessio Piersimoni, tourism assessor Eleonora Sacchini and Pro Loco president Gabriella Peroni highlighted the festival’s aim to draw visitors from across the region and beyond, promoting the town’s cultural and tourist profile. Notable guests include content creator I Gioca Giullari, European cosplay champion Federica Domadraghi, game designers Simone Luciani and Maurizio De Angelis, and musicians such as Kristian Sensini. The programme includes panels, contests, a “cruciverbone” puzzle, concerts and a charity dinner, expecting to attract hundreds of families, young people and enthusiasts.
