Curarrehue regains connectivity after weather front
The commune of Curarrehue in the La Araucanía region is no longer isolated following the restoration of its main access routes. Emergency teams and road services worked to clear critical points affected by a recent weather front.
Regional Presidential Delegate Francisco Ljubetic reported that coordinated efforts between various public services, municipalities, and emergency teams allowed for the recovery of connectivity. The Catripulli and El Piano bridges are now open to all vehicle types, and route CH-199, connecting Pucón with Curarrehue, is fully operational. However, route 965 between Cunco and Reigolil remains restricted to 4x4 vehicles only.
