Cureety and Medtronic announce major healthcare technology expansions

Precision oncology firm Cureety has acquired Reimagine Care, an organization specializing in AI-powered cancer care. The merger aims to provide continuous, personalized support for cancer patients by combining Cureety’s treatment-specific monitoring and triage technology with Reimagine Care’s virtual care platform and AI assistant, Remi. The combined entity serves over 100,000 patients across more than 250 cancer centers in five countries.

In a separate development in the surgical sector, Medtronic has announced a $700 million investment in Cornerstone Robotics. As part of this partnership, Medtronic has secured distribution rights for the Sentire surgical system in select international markets outside the United States. Medtronic intends to offer Sentire alongside its Hugo robotic-assisted surgery system to provide surgeons with more platform flexibility. The Sentire system has already received market approval in China, the European Union, and Singapore.
