Curicó Unido risks three‑point deduction over youth‑player minutes rule

Curicó Unido beat Deportes Temuco 1‑0 in the Primera B and coach Damián Muñoz praised the team's improved performance and tactical discipline. However, the club has been flagged by the ANFP for not meeting the required 945 minutes of U‑21 player participation in the first half of the season, logging only 909 minutes. The federation could impose an automatic three‑point penalty, which would drop Curicó from 12th place to just above the relegation zone. The club is expected to appear before the football disciplinary tribunal to contest the sanction while trying to maintain its recent form ahead of upcoming matches in the league and the Copa Chile.
