Curiosity partners with AI Drug Discovery Institute for talent training

Curiosity, a laboratory automation specialist, has signed a five-year memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the AI Drug Discovery Institute, an affiliate of the Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharma Manufacturers Association.

The partnership aims to foster the AI drug discovery ecosystem by developing and operating professional training programs and facilitating technical exchanges regarding self-driving labs (SDL). The collaboration will also include the dispatch of instructors to help secure multidisciplinary talent capable of integrating AI algorithms with robotic experimental automation.

Curiosity intends to leverage its proprietary lab automation technologies, such as the Celloger live-cell imaging system and Cellpuri cell separation system, to support the development of automated infrastructure essential for high-quality data collection in drug development.
