Curitiba: Body found in river in Xaxim neighborhood

A man's body was discovered in a river in the Xaxim neighborhood of Curitiba, Paraná. The body was found caught in branches behind a residence near Rua Arthur Muller.

According to the Military Police of Paraná, the individual was in a state of decomposition. Initial assessments by authorities indicated no apparent signs of violence, suggesting the body may have been carried by the current. The Fire Department assisted in retrieving the remains, which have been sent to the Medical Legal Institute (IML) of Curitiba for identification and further examination to determine the exact cause of death.
