Brazilian municipalities pass various local legislative and educational measures

Various municipal legislative bodies across Brazil are conducting sessions to address local governance, education, and community recognition.

In Curitiba, the Municipal Chamber approved a project to extend the current Municipal Education Plan (PME) until July 15, 2027. This extension, approved under an urgency regime, aims to ensure legal continuity and administrative validity while the city develops a new decennial plan in alignment with the new National Education Plan (PNE).
