Curitiba and São Paulo municipalities announce new public service exams

Several Brazilian municipalities have announced new public service examinations (concursos públicos).

The City of Curitiba has released three notices offering 348 immediate vacancies plus reserve lists for 10 different positions. These roles span middle-school, technical, and higher education levels. Key positions include 250 Administrative Agents, 30 Civil Engineers, and 5 Municipal Prosecutors, with salaries reaching up to R$ 38,087.99. The exams, organized by Fundação FAFIPA, will feature objective tests in December 2026, with registration open from October 7 to November 5, 2026.

In São Paulo, the Municipal Pension Institute (IPREM SP) has received authorization for a new contest to fill 9 vacancies for Organizational Development and Planning Analysts in the field of Accounting.

Additionally, the City of Icém in São Paulo has opened a recruitment process for one Internal Controller position and various reserve list roles, including drivers and machine operators, with salaries ranging from R$ 1,650 to R$ 3,611.12.
