Curitiba historical sites host culinary and seasonal events

Historical buildings in downtown Curitiba are being revitalized through gastronomy and seasonal celebrations. The Cantina Baviera, located in a historic complex, has launched its 2026 Christmas season featuring over 100,000 micro-lamps, 55 nights of snow shows, and a new 'Secret Santa Village'. The program includes immersive scenery, music, and theater designed to integrate dining with festive entertainment.

Additionally, the Casa Kurí restaurant and cafeteria has opened in a restored early 20th-century mansion on Rua Barão do Rio Branco. The building, which features eclectic architecture, previously housed the Casa Féliz clothing store owned by the family of former Curitiba mayor Jaime Lerner. Following a restoration process completed in 2024, the space now serves as a culinary destination combining food and art.
