Curitiba Hosts Free Erva‑Mate and Coffee Festival Featuring Workshops and Live Music

Curitiba welcomed visitors to a free Erva‑Mate and Coffee Festival on July 31 and August 1 at the Boca Maldita venue on Rua XV de Novembro. The two‑day program offered tastings of mate and coffee, live music, nine distinct attractions, workshops, courses and “spa” experiences, with free entry for the public.

The festival was organized by the municipal government through Curitiba Turismo, the Fundação Cultural de Curitiba and the municipal food‑security secretariat, in partnership with Abrasel, the Associação Comercial do Paraná, Embrapa Florestas, moviMENTE Curitiba Gastronômica, Sebrae and Senac. Additional events and attractions continued across the city through August 8 as part of the Inverno Curitiba 2026 program, and the Escola de Turismo provided training sessions to promote the heritage of mate and coffee.
