Curitiba implements traffic changes in Capão Raso

Traffic patterns in the Capão Raso neighborhood of Curitiba are undergoing significant changes due to infrastructure works and new circulation rules.

Starting Wednesday, September 23, at 11:00 AM, Rua Jovina de Oliveira Karan will implement two-way traffic on the stretch between Rua Santa Mônica and Rua Marechal Althayr Roszanniy. This change includes new signage and safety measures. Additionally, traffic preference at the intersection has shifted, granting priority to Rua Marechal Althayr Roszanniy over Rua Jovina de Oliveira Karan.

Furthermore, Rua Antônio de Freitas Barbosa will face two blockages to facilitate works for the Novo Inter 2 project, specifically for concrete paving preparation. The first blockage is scheduled to begin Thursday, September 24, between Rua Delegado Naby Paraná and Rua Vereador Adeodato Volpi. This section is expected to remain closed for approximately 30 days, depending on weather conditions. Drivers are advised to use detours via Rua Vereador Adeodato Volpi, Rua José Dorigo, Rua Rodolpho Senff Júnior, or Rua Dr. Manoel Linhares de Lacerda.
