Curitiba Open confirms Brazilian players for WTA 125 tournament

The Curitiba Open, a WTA 125 tournament, has confirmed additional Brazilian players for its singles main draw. Gabriela Cé secured a direct spot following a player withdrawal, joining Laura Pigossi and Carol Meligeni.

Additionally, the Instituto Esperança do Amanhã has extended a wildcard invitation to Ana Candiotto. The 22-year-old, currently ranked 550th in the world, recently competed on European clay to gain experience. A third invitation intended for Victória Barros was withdrawn due to injury.

The tournament will take place on the clay courts of the Graciosa Country Club from next Sunday until November 1st. It features a total prize pool of US$ 115,000 and offers 125 ranking points to the champion. Admission is free for the public via registration through the AppTicket application.
