João Pessoa park run and Brazil's bike races open registration
The Corrida dos Parques – Etapa Parques do Bessa in João Pessoa has surpassed 1,000 entrants. Kit collection is scheduled for Saturday, 27 June, at Parahyba Mall, after which the race will start at 6 a.m. on Sunday with 5 km, 10 km, 3 km walk, family run and canicross options. Organisers highlight environmental actions, including planting a tree for each participant, electronic‑waste collection and a used‑shoes drive.
The 30‑year‑old Copa Internacional de Mountain Bike will move to Congonhas’s Praça de Eventos for its 2026 edition, held 25‑27 September. New XCC, XCO and XCM courses will award UCI points, with the XCO and XCM classified as Class 1 (60 points) – a factor for Olympic qualification.
Curitiba’s first stage of the 2026 Copa Curitiba de Ciclismo Estrada opened registrations, offering free, non‑transferable entry across 20 categories for men, women and para‑cyclists, with the race slated to start at 9 a.m. on the city’s Avenida Dario Lopes dos Santos.
Esporte Clube Noroeste will host a free open‑day at the Alfredão stadium on Saturday, 27 June, featuring a sticker‑exchange activity, prize packs and an open training session for fans.
Registrations also opened for the Circuito Anapolino Mountain Bike event in Goialândia.
