Curitiba records multiple deaths with burial details

On August 4 and 5, 2026, the city of Curitiba, Brazil, published official death notices for several residents. The listings include names, ages, occupations and the locations and times of their funerals. Among those reported on August 5 were Sandra Ferreira Alves, a 47‑year‑old teacher; Almiro Pedro Lacerda, an 88‑year‑old accountant; Evaldo Olcha, an 82‑year‑old metalworker; Lindamir de Deus Bueno, a 60‑year‑old dentist; and Eronildo de Farias Lins, a 53‑year‑old aide. Each notice provides the hospital of death, the chapel or cemetery where the body will lie in rest, and the funeral home handling the service. The August 4 notices similarly recorded deaths of Reinarto Leal, Helena Caetano Ramos, Antonio Pimentel Rodrigues, Jessica Evangelista Lopes, and Antonio Rocha, with comparable burial information. The reports were compiled from data supplied by the Curitiba municipal authorities.
