Curitiba releases over R$ 2 million in microcredit for entrepreneurs

The Curitiba City Hall has released over R$ 2 million in microcredit to support local entrepreneurs. Since the program's inception in September 2025, more than R$ 2.24 million has been distributed through 169 finalized contracts out of 524 proposals.

Developed by the Municipal Secretariat for Economic Development and Innovation and the Curitiba Agency for Development and Innovation in partnership with Fomento Paraná, the initiative provides financing with average operations ranging between R$ 10,000 and R$ 15,000. The funds are intended to help small business owners invest in inventory, technology, and digital marketing to expand their operations.
