Curitiba is set to host its first WTA 125 tournament at the Graciosa Country Club from October 23 to November 1. The institute, which has supported professional tennis development for 15 years, also plans additional tournaments in São Paulo and Barueri later in the year.
In current professional competition, the M15 Curitiba tournament is underway at the Santa Mônica Clube de Campo. Recent matches saw victories from top seeds Mateus Alves and Pedro Sakamoto, as well as João Victor Loureiro and João Schiessl.
