Curitiba's Passeio Público to Host Free 'Inverno Encantado' Winter Festival (July‑August 2026)

The historic Passeio Público park in Curitiba will be transformed into a free, immersive winter attraction called "Inverno Encantado" from 19 July to 11 August 2026. Open nightly from 18:00 to 21:00, the outdoor circuit features three installations: the Bosque Encantado with holographic projections of local fauna and fantasy characters, the Águas Dançantes water‑light‑music show, and an igloo‑like dome offering a 12‑minute projection journey through Curitiba’s winter lore.

The event is part of the city’s broader Inverno Curitiba 2026 programme, organized by the municipal tourism agency in partnership with cultural and sports secretariats and private sponsors. It aims to draw residents and tourists, reinforcing Curitiba’s reputation as a winter‑tourism capital.

The attraction requires no registration or ticket purchase, and is intended for all ages.
