Curtea de Argeș announces heavy fines for illegal parking
Local police in Curtea de Argeș have announced significant fines for the unauthorized occupation of residential parking spaces. Following numerous complaints from residents, authorities are enforcing strict regulations regarding subscription-based parking.
Individuals found violating these rules face fines ranging from 500 to 1,500 lei, while legal entities and economic operators may be fined up to 2,500 lei. Violations include parking without a valid subscription, occupying multiple spaces by ignoring road markings, or using residential spots for vehicle maintenance such as oil changes or car washing. Additionally, the installation of illegal barriers, chains, or structures to block access is prohibited. In certain instances, the misuse of these spaces may result in the cancellation of the parking subscription.
