Inter Milan intensifies pursuit of Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones
Inter Milan have prepared a third, higher offer for Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, aiming to meet the English club’s valuation of around €35 million. The Italian side is reportedly ready to raise its bid to €28 million plus €4‑5 million in bonuses, and may stretch further if needed. Liverpool have so far rejected two previous offers of roughly €25 million, holding firm that the player is worth more. Jones, 25, has one year left on his contract before it expires in summer 2027 and has expressed interest in moving to Serie A, seeing a regular role at the San Siro as a chance to revive his England prospects. Inter’s manager Cristian Chivu and the club’s hierarchy have been described as “determined at all costs” to secure the signing, while Liverpool remain reluctant to lower their price, indicating the deal will hinge on whether the financial gap can be closed in the coming weeks.
