Curtis Lazar signs with Lausanne HC in Switzerland

Swiss National League team Lausanne HC has signed former NHL forward Curtis Lazar for the remainder of the 2026-27 season. The 31-year-old Canadian joins the roster following a stint with the Edmonton Oilers.

Lazar, who was selected 17th overall by the Ottawa Senators in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft, brings extensive professional experience to the Swiss league. Throughout his NHL career, he played 617 games for several teams, including the Calgary Flames, Buffalo Sabres, Boston Bruins, Vancouver Canucks, and New Jersey Devils.

He joins other former NHL players on the Lausanne HC roster, such as Drake Cagliula and Austin Czarnik.
