Curve announces cast and extended run for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

The Curve theatre in Leicester has announced the full cast and an extended run for its upcoming production of the musical ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’. Based on the story by Roald Dahl, the production is scheduled to run from 21 November 2026 to 16 January 2027.

Jonny Fines will portray Willy Wonka, while the role of Charlie Bucket will be shared by Lucas Kerr, Jett Moises, William Stafford, and Theo Wake. Other key cast members include David-Michael Johnson as Grandpa Joe and Molly Lynch as Mrs Bucket. The production features a large ensemble and a community company consisting of over 20 young people from Leicester and the East Midlands.

Directed by Curve Artistic Director Nikolai Foster, the musical features a book by David Greig with music and lyrics by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.
