Curwin Bosch debuts for Vodacom Bulls after French stint

Springbok fly-half Curwin Bosch has successfully debuted for the Vodacom Bulls following a two-year stint in France with Brive. Bosch, who previously spent seven years with the Sharks, joined the Bulls to provide experienced depth at number 10 alongside Handre Pollard.

In his United Rugby Championship (URC) debut against Zebre Parma in Italy, Bosch earned praise from coach Johan Ackermann for his game control during a 47-13 bonus-point victory. Bosch noted that his time in France served as a vital “mental break” that allowed him to step out of his comfort zone and play with more freedom.

Having moved away from the familiarity of Durban, Bosch described the experience of adapting to French culture as a way to “get the shackles off” and focus purely on rugby. The Bulls are scheduled to face Munster at Thomond Park in Limerick next.
