Cusco police investigate alleged sexual abuse between primary students

Authorities in Cusco are investigating a case of alleged sexual abuse involving two primary school students. The incident reportedly occurred within the classrooms of a local educational center.

General Virgilio Velásquez, head of the Cusco Police Region, confirmed that the investigation began following an anonymous report. The individuals involved are minors aged 12 and 13. Police have already intervened regarding the alleged perpetrator, and authorities are conducting psychological examinations and other necessary legal proceedings in coordination with the Public Ministry.

In response to the incident, General Velásquez emphasized the importance of parental supervision and guidance, stating that families must take responsibility for their children's behavior and development.
