Customs Administration of Montenegro forms new labor union

The Customs Administration of Montenegro has formed a new labor union, with Siniša Raičević elected as its president. The organization has officially joined the Union of Administration and Justice of Montenegro to provide enhanced support and protection for its members.

With approximately 600 positions defined by internal systematization, the administration is one of the country’s largest state bodies. Union leaders stated that employee issues have been neglected for decades, leading to a lack of adequate protection for labor rights and a decline in the institution's quality and integrity.

The new union aims to establish a relationship with the employer based on transparent dialogue. Leadership emphasized that the union will operate on principles of solidarity and equality, rejecting practices where specific individuals or groups receive preferential treatment.
