Customs officials seize 700 grams of hashish in North Macedonia

Customs officials in North Macedonia seized 700 grams of hashish from a postal package arriving from Spain. The shipment was intercepted during a detailed inspection at a postal facility.

Upon opening the package, inspectors discovered seven hermetically sealed bags containing a green solid substance. A customs dog detected the presence of drugs, and subsequent testing confirmed the substance was THC.

A citizen from Tetovo, identified as R.V., was arrested by investigators at the moment they attempted to collect the package. A criminal complaint has been filed against the individual for the unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, and precursors. The seized material has been sent for official forensic analysis to confirm it as hashish.
