Cutral Co to host Bici Tour in honor of José Héctor Rioseco

The city of Cutral Co will host a family Bici Tour this Sunday to commemorate the third anniversary of the death of former mayor José Héctor Rioseco. The event is organized by the Club Deportivo y Cultural Municipales de Cutral Co, with support from the local Directorate of Tourism and the Subsecretariat of Sport and Youth.

The 8.7-kilometer cycling route will begin at 2:00 PM at the Monument to the Fallen in Malvinas in the Brentana neighborhood, located at Plaza Soldado Jorge Águila. The route will pass various city monuments, including the statue of Jaime De Nevares, El Cristo, and the AVRO plane, before concluding at the Parque de la Ciudad.

Rioseco, who served as mayor from 2015 to 2023 and was a provincial deputy from 2011 to 2015, was a known supporter of cycling. The event aims to promote physical activity and community connection. Upon arrival at the park, participants can enjoy a fair featuring local artisans and entrepreneurs, food stalls, and live musical performances by local artists.
