CV-60 highway doubling project to be presented in L’Olleria

The Generalitat Valenciana will present a project to advance the doubling of the CV-60 highway between L’Olleria and Terrateig on Monday, September 21. This infrastructure project is a long-standing demand from municipalities, economic agents, and social groups in the Vall d’Albaida region to improve road safety and connectivity.

The planned intervention will duplicate the current roadway, providing continuity to the segment already doubled toward Palma de Gandia. The project is divided into three distinct phases: L’Olleria to CV-62, CV-62 to Castelló de Rugat, and Castelló de Rugat to Terrateig. These phases may proceed almost simultaneously.

Traffic data indicates that certain points along this corridor experience between 11,000 and 12,000 vehicles daily. The project aims to resolve issues related to two-way traffic sections and strengthen the connection between the interior of the region and the coast.
