Cévéo and Cèze‑Cévennes Promote Authentic Rural Tourism in France
Cévéo, a network of holiday villages across France, is positioning itself as a leading provider of authentic, nature‑focused stays. Its villages, such as the Gruissan site in Occitanie near the Mediterranean coast, combine local gastronomy, outdoor activities and sustainable practices, with a refreshed offer planned for 2026.
The Communauté de communes de Cèze‑Cévennes, together with regional tourism offices, has launched a video campaign that showcases the area’s landscapes, heritage and local producers. President Olivier Martin says the aim is to attract visitors seeking quality, personalized experiences rather than mass tourism, highlighting artisans, farmers and hosts as ambassadors of the destination.
