CWM Arian Announces £5,000 Youth Climate Grant for West Wales

Community benefit society CWM Arian has launched the Daniel Blackburn Memorial Fund for Youth Action, a £5,000 grant awarded each year to a youth‑led group developing low‑carbon living, renewable energy, sustainable transport or environmental ecology projects in West Wales. The scheme covers north Pembrokeshire, south Ceredigion and west Carmarthenshire and is open to schools, registered charities and youth groups working with people under 18.

Applications are accepted throughout September and October, with the first grant recipient to be announced in January 2027. The fund honors the legacy of the society’s late founding director Daniel Blackburn, who promoted hands‑on physics and green energy education for young people.
