Cyber Command launches AI platform to support SCS security certification
Cyber Command Co., Ltd. has launched “KUMIHIMO AI. security,” a supply chain security platform designed to help companies achieve the ★3 rating of the upcoming Supply Chain Security (SCS) evaluation system. The SCS system, scheduled to begin operations at the end of fiscal year 2026, is being developed by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Cabinet Secretariat's National Center of Incident Readiness and Strategy for Cybersecurity.
The platform aims to assist companies that lack dedicated security personnel. It features an AI-driven service that visualizes security status, automatically judges compliance with evaluation items, and provides instructions for necessary improvements. It also includes a “伴走型クイックアセスメント” (accompanying quick assessment) service that offers guided support through meetings to help businesses identify priority tasks.
As cyberattacks increasingly target suppliers and subcontractors to reach larger organizations, the platform seeks to standardize security visibility across the supply chain. While currently focused on the receiving side of transactions, Cyber Command plans to expand the platform to include ordering companies in the future.
