CyberChess 2026 cybersecurity conference to be held in Riga

The international cybersecurity conference “CyberChess 2026” is scheduled to take place in Riga on October 14-15. The event serves as a major gathering for the Baltic and international cybersecurity communities, focusing on practical responses to recent high-profile cyber incidents in Latvia, such as attacks on the IT infrastructure of Latvijas valsts meži and the Road Traffic Safety Directorate (CSDD).

More than 800 participants from 30 countries are expected to attend. The conference will include technical experts, policy and military professionals, and telecommunications providers. A key feature of the event includes closed sessions where CERT.LV and international experts will share restricted technical information, including undisclosed threat actor tactics and methods.
