A cybercriminal operating under the pseudonym ChimeraZ has claimed to have stolen a database containing 905,097 records from France. The hacker alleges that the stolen data links French vehicle license plates with sensitive personal information, including names, phone numbers, and home addresses.

The data is currently being offered for sale on the dark web. While the claim has been reported by specialized media such as French Breaches, it has not yet been officially confirmed by government authorities. Experts note that such a leak poses significant risks for identity theft and targeted scams, as the combination of a visible license plate and private contact details allows criminals to craft highly convincing fraudulent messages.
