CyberPower achieves IEC 62443-4-1 industrial cybersecurity certification

CyberPower has successfully passed an independent assessment by DEKRA to obtain the IEC 62443-4-1 certification. This standard focuses on the secure product development lifecycle for industrial automation and control systems.

The certification validates CyberPower’s ability to integrate cybersecurity requirements into the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of its power management products. This includes Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Power Distribution Units (PDU), and related management software.

As power management increasingly relies on remote monitoring and network connectivity, the certification ensures that security risks—such as access control, software updates, and vulnerability management—are addressed throughout the product lifecycle to support stable business operations for data centers and industrial users.
