At Leiden University, computer science students have transitioned from informal hacking sessions to an official course titled ‘Capture the Flag: Cybersecurity in Practice’. Working alongside the university’s Security Operations Center (SOC), students identify vulnerabilities within the institution's IT environment under a responsible disclosure policy.
