Experts are warning of a significant wave of hacker attacks following the discovery of serious security vulnerabilities in the PHP programming language. Millions of attack attempts have already been reported, with Amazon Threat Intelligence noting that the flaws are being widely exploited.

In addition to the PHP vulnerabilities, urgent security updates have been issued for Node.js and GitLab. The cybersecurity landscape is currently facing two simultaneous threats: software vulnerabilities that require timely patching, and active breaches. Specifically, the platform Railway reported unusual activity in systems storing customer environment variables, while the programming tool OpenCode reported an intrusion earlier in the week.
