Cybersecurity firms and researchers launch new AI security and forensic tools
Several new tools and methodologies have been introduced to address the security and forensic challenges posed by artificial intelligence.
RadarFirst has launched an AI Incident Management solution designed to investigate and document AI-related incidents, focusing on areas such as bias, privacy, and policy violations. In the cybersecurity sector, Rapid7 introduced Rapid7 Intelligence, a unified engine aimed at proactive threat prevention by monitoring attacker behavior in real time. Additionally, Sophos released Sophos CISO Advantage, an AI-enabled tool that generates customized cybersecurity strategies and prioritized roadmaps based on an organization’s specific threat profile and regulatory frameworks.
On the forensic side, new Python scripts have been developed to assist in reconstructing AI agent activity. These tools, designed for incident response, allow investigators to examine records left behind by various AI coding assistants and agents. The scripts focus on making recorded activity, such as chat transcripts and API request dumps, accessible for forensic review to determine user queries and assistant responses.
