Cybersecurity firms Corero and NETSCOUT advance DDoS mitigation

Corero Network Security has announced the launch of AI-Augmented Cloud-Assist for its SmartWall ONE platform. This new capability integrates cloud-delivered AI analysis and threat intelligence with existing DDoS protection to identify emerging attack behaviors and generate protection policies that can be applied in seconds.

The system creates a continuous intelligence loop between cloud and on-premises deployments, combining automated AI analysis with human oversight to improve response times and operational efficiency.

Separately, NETSCOUT has been recognized as both a SPARK Leader and an Ace Performer in the 2026 SPARK Matrix for Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) Mitigation by QKS Group. The recognition highlights NETSCOUT’s Arbor platform and its ability to provide carrier-grade protection through deep network visibility and scalable mitigation across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
