Cybersecurity firms launch new AI and regulatory compliance services
Cybersecurity providers Axitea and Zscaler have introduced new services to address evolving digital threats and regulatory requirements.
Axitea has launched ‘CSIRT as a Service’ to help organizations comply with the NIS2 Directive. This service provides structured incident management, including detection, notification to authorities, and support for management decision-making. The NIS2 Directive applies to essential and important sectors such as energy, finance, and healthcare, imposing strict notification timelines—including a 24-hour pre-notification window—and significant penalties for non-compliance, which can reach up to 10 million euros or 2% of global annual turnover.
Zscaler has introduced ‘Zscaler Agentic SOC,’ an AI-first approach to security operations. Designed to counter AI-based attacks that move faster than manual mitigation, the platform uses specialized AI agents and telemetry to detect and block threats at machine speed. To enhance its threat intelligence, Zscaler is collaborating with leading AI research laboratories, including Anthropic and OpenAI, to integrate frontier models into its security workflows.
