Cybersecurity Forum in Warsaw addresses AI and digital resilience

The VIII Cybersecurity Forum, held in Warsaw, brought together over 1,500 participants, including experts from academia, administration, and the business sector, to discuss digital transformation and security challenges. Key topics included the impact of artificial intelligence on cybersecurity, where AI serves both as a tool for threat detection and a weapon for cybercriminals, as well as the fight against disinformation.

During the event, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gawkowski highlighted the strengthening of digital resilience through the amendment of the National Cybersecurity System and the establishment of a Center for Combating Disinformation, following a decision signed by Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Discussions also covered international cooperation, the role of CSIRT teams, and lessons learned from supporting Ukraine during the war.

Complementary sessions, such as the Digital Transformation Forum organized by Atende and Nicolaus Copernicus University, focused on the practical and legal dimensions of cybersecurity. These sessions addressed data leak prevention, backup solutions, and the regulatory plans of the National Cybersecurity Strategy.
