Cycling and cultural events highlighted in Germany and Hungary

The 'Umanand aufm Land' bicycle culture route will take place on September 12 and 13, spanning approximately 35 kilometers between Bad Waldsee and Aulendorf in Germany. The event features a diverse cultural program including music, sculptures, comedy, and art exhibitions located in unexpected settings such as forests and fields. Pop artist Jim Avignon is set to create an exclusive, surprise artwork for the event. Additionally, a youth stage will be hosted by the 'Prisma' youth center at the Stadtsee skater park in Bad Waldsee.

In Hungary, a 24-kilometer cycling route offers exploration of the Gemenc Forest floodplain. Starting in Baja-Dunafürdő, the path follows the Hungarian Blue Trail to the Cserta Bridge and passes the Pörböly Eco-Tourism Center. The route includes the Gemenc Forest Railway and the 'Pörböly Titan,' recognized as Hungary's largest tree. Visitors are advised that forest access may be partially restricted starting September 1 due to hunting season.
