Cycling and triathlon events held in Rankweil and Rheinhessen

The International Cycling Criterium ‘Rund um den Liebfrauenberg’ is scheduled to take place in Rankweil on August 22. The event features a diverse program including the ‘Käferle Cup’ for children and youth, as well as competitions for clubs, companies, and amateur cyclists. The professional highlight involves an international elite race covering approximately 80 to 84 kilometers over roughly 80 laps on a one-kilometer circuit through the town center.

In Germany, the Triathlon Festival Rheinhessen was held in Wörrstadt. The event included a sprint distance consisting of a 500m swim, a 20km bike ride, and a 5km run. Participants navigated a challenging course through the hilly Rheinhessen landscape, featuring steep climbs and descents. The festival utilized the Neuborn open-air pool for the swimming start and transitions.
