Cycling events held in Croatia and Slovenia

The 15th anniversary of the ‘Med skrajski bregi’ cycling event took place in Ivanec, Croatia. Organized by DSR Salinovec with support from the City of Ivanec, 119 participants completed a 30 km route passing through Salinovec, Koškovec, Lipovnik, Klenovnik, Žarovnica, Bedenec, and Ivanec.

Awards were presented for various categories, including the most beautiful bicycle and the ‘oldtimer’ bicycle. The event concluded with a raffle and refreshments in Salinovec.

In Slovenia, preparations are underway for the European Road Cycling Championships, scheduled to take place between October 2 and October 7. The event will feature various categories, including U23, elite men and women, and mixed relay races. Organizers are currently seeking volunteers aged 16 and older to assist with race logistics, media center operations, and course management in Ljubljana and Šenčur.
