Cycling industry event and regional races held in Germany

The cycling industry recently gathered in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, for the ‘Bock auf Ballern’ event. Organized by MTB-News, eMTB-News, and Rennrad-News, the event brought together representatives from various bicycle and component manufacturers for networking and group rides.

Participants rode in 16 different groups categorized by bike type, including gravel bikes, mountain bikes, and e-mountain bikes. A total of 129 bikes were documented at the event, ranging from long-travel e-enduros to race gravel bikes.

In a separate regional development, the cyclocross racing scene in Berlin and Brandenburg is expanding for the 2026/27 season. The upcoming schedule includes several ‘Crossmania’ events, the Cyclocross Bundesliga in Stahnsdorf, and the Berlin Championships at the Olympiapark. The season is set to begin in late October 2026 with the Halloween-Cross in Prützke.
