Cycling infrastructure issues reported in Cambridge and York

Various cycling infrastructure issues have been reported in Cambridge and York. In Cambridge, a temporary sign was noted to be obstructing a signed cycle path between Market Street and Sidney Street. However, the presence of an ‘Except cycles’ plate on a no-entry sign may render the specific detour signs unnecessary.

In York, near Bootham Stray and the entrance from Alder Way, a hole in the ground was identified as a hazard for cyclists. The damage at this historical entry and exit point has reportedly not been marked for repair.
