Cycling rally honors Świętokrzyska Brigade of the NSZ

The eighth annual cycling rally following the trail of the Świętokrzyska Brigade of the National Armed Forces (NSZ) took place on August 8. Participants from several regions, including Końskie, Kielce, Włoszczowa, and Jędrzejów, joined the event to commemorate the soldiers of the brigade.

Cyclists departed from various starting points, including Zagnańsk, Końskie, Włoszczowa, and Jędrzejów, eventually converging in Lasocin. Lasocin holds historical significance as the location where the brigade was officially formed in 1944. The event included stops at various memorial sites where participants laid candles and wreaths to honor the historical figures of the Polish underground.

Organizers described the rally as a way to preserve historical memory and counter past narratives regarding the brigade's legacy. The event combined physical activity with patriotic education, aiming to pass the history of the region to younger generations.
